Announcing spring 2022 virtual workshops for teachers
Teachers: Join the Genes in Space team for a remote, hands-on professional development workshop this spring! Participants will learn about exciting additions to the 2022 competition, and will take part in a guided, hands-on demonstration of BioBits cell-free system, which is newly available to support Genes in Space experiments aboard the ISS. All participants will receive a kit containing the equipment and reagents they need to participate in the demo.

*Note: This opportunity is only open to middle and high school teachers in the United States.*
All participants will be shipped a BioBits lab kit to support their participation
Cost: $25
Location: Virtual (sessions will be held in Zoom)
Dates: (same programming will be repeated on all dates)
- Saturday, January 22nd (2-4pm ET) [FULL]
- Thursday, February 24th (6-8pm ET)
- Saturday, March 12th (2-4pm ET)
